The new Internet application, called in a short, version DDNS, means "Dynamic DNS". In simple terms this DDNS application is used to resolve an IP address into a name. For example, if you want to be able to access a website from your home computer that has an IP address of 87.111.35.125 on the Internet, you would type this address into the box and then it would search through the entire Internet to find the nearest net connection that can provide you with this information. It then makes a list of local IP addresses from this list and sends this information to your broadband router at your home or business.
So this means that as long as the router can resolve the IP address you are trying to reach, you can continue to use the Internet using your Internet connection. The bottom line is that if your router cannot, then you cannot use the internet. The only option then, is for you to change your router.
So to use this application on a MAC OS, you must have DDNS running. Just go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections and look for your router. Choose the application DDNS in the list and click on the icon to enable. Now make sure your Internet connection is active and then log into your computer and visit any website. And don't forget to keep in mind that you need to be connected to the internet to use the program.
